How to apply false eyelashes - Tutorial -

On daily basis, using only mascara can change the your whole look. But in special ocations using falsies can bring your face a new perspective. Lashes are very important when you are doing your make up, using mascara would make your eyes look bigger and femenine and will give you a touch of a filtry look.

Before getting in to the business, you'll need to know a few things about false eyelashes.
  • There are thousands and thousands of diffent types of false eyelashes. (Individuals, one stripe, lower lashes...) and then they divide into different types wich would be natural looking ones, largers, exhuberant, theatrical and the list keeps going.
  • Some people preffer to apply them using the fingers but in my oppinion, using tweezers is easier and precise.
  • Always remember to measure first the false eyelash with your eye (before putting in any glue), you want  it to fit perfectly. You only measure it and with a sissor cut the extra "hairs" on the outside part of the lash (the large ones, never cut where the little ones are).
  • VERY IMPORTANT TIP: Always, and i mean, always let the glue dry for about 30 seconds. This would make the glue very sticky and it would adhere easily to your eye.

STEP ONE

Apply mascara. There is no trick in this step, just apply it like you always do!

STEP TWO

Choose the lashes you want to put on and using a tweezer, unstuck them from the plastic very carefully.
Measure and cut them if it's necessary

STEP THREE

Using the lash glue of your choice, put some of it at the tip of a stick. In this case,
i'm using the tip of the end of a brush.

STEP FOUR

Carefully slide the stick with the glue on the lash, leaving a fine line of glue in it.

STEP FIVE

Using the tweezer, grab the lash as showed in the picture and place it above the natural eyelash.

This step is the most important. It's necessary to place the false lash the closest to the natural lashes.
This way you will achieve a good result.

STEP SIX:

Using the tweezer, grab the lash and the end and at the inner part en place it into the right place.
Don't take to much time doing this because the glue will dry and you will need to
apply it again.

The tweezer is your principal and only tool, so use it well!

STEP SEVEN

Using your finger, push the lashes like I show in the picture. Making sure they are glued and pushing
them a little bit up so they look more open.

And done!

And this is the result!
It's easy, and practice makes the teacher. You can use falsies with any eye look you have put on
and if you want more dramatic lashes just apply more mascara after the false ones are dry!

Hope you learned something.
