Aruba sunset - Eye tutorial -

I was inspired by the Aruban beautiful sunsets, this exact picture I toke was the one I was inspired on.

And this is the look I came of!

I tried to do a look that was very (or almost) weareable for everyone. Don't be scared to try it
at least! You can be suprised that you can rock this look too.

What I used:

  • White eye liner pencil.
  • A yellow matte eyeshadow.
  • A orange matte eyeshadow.
  • A (not so dark and deep) red matte eyeshadow.
  • A baby blue o turquoise matte eyeshadow.
  • A dark navy blue matte eyeshadow.
  • Black liner of your preference, it can be gel or liquid.
  • Black mascara.
Here we start!

Sorry for the crappy eyebrows! :(

STEP ONE:

Using the white eye pencil, rub the liner all over the eyelid.
This step is key because the white liner is going to help the eyeshadow stick on the eyelid.
If your eye pencil is not creamy, you can use a lighter to make it softer.

STEP TWO:

Blend well the eye pencil with your ring finger. Try to blend the edges to and make them soft.

STEP THREE:

Apply the yellow eyeshadow on the innercorner of the eye, pack the color well
so you can have a very strong color there.

STEP FOUR:

Blend the edges, so in that way we can blend the orange and yellow together
and make a very good looking gradient!

STEP FIVE:

Place the orange eyeshadow and blend well, remember, don't left harsh edges
because it would look takky, We want a nice gradient.

STEP SIX:

Apply the red eyeshadow and blend well!

STEP SEVEN:

With any fluffly brush, blend the edges to make them softer.

STEP EIGHT:

Line your waterline and line the lower lash line. Here we want to make a base for
for the nexts eyeshadows, like we did on the first step!

STEP NINE:

With your finger, blend the withe liner we place before.

STEP TEN:

Apply the turquoise eyeshadow all the way in the lower lash line.

STEP ELEVEN:

And extend a little bit the line outside the eye, in that way we have a nice eye shape there.

STEP TWELVE:

Using the navy blue eyshadow, apply it ONLY on the outer part of the line we
did before. Blend well!

STEP THIRTEEN:

Using the tip of a Q-tip, rub it all in the edges of the blue line. In this way, the line
is smooth and not to harsh looking.

STEP FOURTEEN:

The main look is done here! But I want to do a few extra steps so the eye
doesn't look so boring.

STEP FIFTEEN:

Using gel or a liquid black liner, line the upper lash line doing a very thin line.
Only with this step we can see the dramatic change we do to the look!

STEP SIXTEEN:

Apply a few coats of mascara in the upper and lower lashes.

AND DONE!

This was a fun look to do, dare to wear it and you'll get compliments I am sure of that!
